Baby Girl

Brother Ali, Baby Girl

This song captures the emotions of a sexual assault survivor & secondary survivor. Brother Ali beautifully describes what many feel and expresses the hope that we wish for every survivor to have on their journey –“I still believe that one day I can feel free and my body can be mine again. My eyes can learn how to shine again. My inner child won’t have to hide and then when I’m strong and love can be invited in.”

We have mad love for artists like Brother Ali who create pieces like this. Many survivors discover the courage to heal through music and art. It’s a beautiful thing.
