Interview with Sarah.
If someone came to visit you in your hometown, where would you take them?
If someone came to visit me in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma I would bring them to all my favorite places! We would go down to Brookside to eat at one of the bistros or coffee shops, go shopping at Ida Reds (my favorite store in t-town), go to the Riverwalk for a summer concert, and go to the zoo!
What is a little known fact about you?
A little known fact about me is that I really enjoy teaching swim lessons. I taught and coached on-and-off for over six years.
What holiday or annual event do you most look forward to celebrating?
I always look forward to Christmas. Since I’m away at school, it’s nice to have some time to spend at home with my parents!
If they made a movie about your life, what actor should play you?
Katherine Heigl
Why do you think sexual assault is so common on college campuses?
I think sexual assault is so common on college campuses because not enough people step up and intervene in situations that put people at risk.
What is your favorite word?
Passionate!
What book could you reread again and again?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
What is the one thing you would most like to change about the world?
The one thing I would most like to change about the world is the inequality of people. I would aim for equal rights for all people no matter their sex, gender, religion, nationality, etc.
Do you prefer dill or sweet pickles?
Neither! I am strange and don’t enjoy any type of pickle.
If you ran One Student, what would you do?
If I ran One Student, I would grow the network and spread their programs to as many college campuses as possible!
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
I would definitely have to choose the power of instant transport. If I can’t actually be in two places at once, at least I’d get everywhere super quick!
